Parents recieve a parent portal where comprehensive overviews, weekly feedback, comments from tutors, assignment feedback, weekly progress and more can be seen.

Lesson-Test-Tutorial (LTT) Model

Our courses adhere to our unique flipped learning LTT model, which comprises:

• Lesson: Engaging instructional content and activities delivered through our learning portal.
• Test: Immediate diagnostic assessments following each Lesson, providing instant feedback to students and tutors.
• Tutorial: Follow-up small group sessions for Live Track students where tutors reinforce learning and address individual needs.

Comprehensive Assessment and Feedback

Beyond the LTT cycle, students are assigned periodic assignments that are carefully marked by our tutors. Each assignment comes with specific feedback, guiding students on areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. Our assessment strategy includes both formative and summative evaluations, enabling continuous monitoring of student progress.

Accessible Tutor Support

We understand the importance of timely support. Students can contact their tutors at any time via secure messaging within the learning portal or by email, as detailed in their digital handbook. This ensures that queries are addressed promptly, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Learning Portal Features

Students have 24/7 access to our learning portal which offers:

• Gradebook: A personalised dashboard where students can track their marks and monitor their progress.

• Engagement Tracking: For Live Track students, tutors provide comments on each tutorial, assessing engagement and preparation.

• Gamification: Features like points and badges to motivate and reward student achievements.

• Course Completion Status: Visual indicators to help students stay on track with their studies.

Full Reports

We provide comprehensive and meaningful tutor written reports that detail student performance, progress and areas for development, with attainment and effort grades (live track only). Individual Mentors: Pastoral Support

Each student is assigned a pastoral mentor who will be in contact with them and have the option for 121 video meetings with the students and their parents. These meetings are designed to support not only academic growth but also the overall well-being of our students. Students receieve communication from the pastoral mentor at regular intervals and can contact them via email or message at any time.

Community Engagement

Our Live Lounges offer a virtual space for students to socialise, collaborate and build friendships, fostering community within the online learning environment. There are also a variety of clubs and societies as well as open-access courses. Students are welcome to also submit a request to run a club themselves.
